Privacy Policy for GlowBareSkin LinkedIn Content Assistant

GlowBareSkin Luxe Private Limited ("GlowBareSkin", "we", "us", or "our") provides the GlowBareSkin LinkedIn Content Assistant, a custom GPT designed to help authorised users create, review, and publish content to their own LinkedIn account.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the GlowBareSkin LinkedIn Content Assistant, why it is processed, how it is handled, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This Policy applies only to the GlowBareSkin LinkedIn Content Assistant and the supporting Cloudflare Worker used to connect the Assistant with LinkedIn's official APIs.

The Assistant operates through ChatGPT and LinkedIn. Those services process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use the Assistant, the following information may be processed:

LinkedIn account information

When you connect your LinkedIn account using OAuth, LinkedIn may provide limited profile information permitted by the scopes you approve, including:

• Your LinkedIn member identifier
• Your name
• Your profile picture
• Your locale or language information

The Assistant does not request access to your LinkedIn password.

OAuth access token

An OAuth access token is used to authenticate authorised requests to LinkedIn. The token permits only the access approved by you through LinkedIn's consent screen.

The GlowBareSkin Cloudflare Worker forwards the token to LinkedIn for the requested action. The Worker does not intentionally store the token in an application database.

Content you provide

We process information you submit to the Assistant, such as:

• LinkedIn post ideas, drafts, and final post text
• Founder stories, brand information, business insights, and instructions
• Your approval or request to publish a post

Technical information

Cloudflare, OpenAI, LinkedIn, and related infrastructure providers may process limited technical information required to provide, secure, and troubleshoot their services. This may include request timestamps, IP addresses, device or browser information, diagnostic information, and security logs.

3. How We Use Information

We process information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Authenticate your LinkedIn account
• Retrieve the limited LinkedIn profile information needed to identify the authorised account
• Draft, review, improve, and format LinkedIn content based on your instructions
• Publish approved content to your LinkedIn account
• Return confirmation or error information after an attempted action
• Maintain the security, reliability, and lawful operation of the integration
• Prevent misuse, fraud, unauthorised access, and technical abuse

The Assistant should request your confirmation before it submits a publishing action. You remain responsible for reviewing the final content and deciding whether it should be published.

4. LinkedIn Permissions

The Assistant may request the following LinkedIn permissions:

• `openid`, to authenticate your LinkedIn account
• `profile`, to retrieve limited profile information
• `w_member_social`, to publish content to your LinkedIn account after authorisation

We do not use these permissions to obtain your LinkedIn password. We do not request permission to read your private LinkedIn messages, connection list, or email address through this integration.

5. Automated Processing and AI

The Assistant uses artificial intelligence to generate and revise content based on your prompts and information. AI generated content may contain mistakes, unsuitable wording, or incorrect assumptions.

You should review all content for accuracy, confidentiality, legal compliance, brand suitability, and factual support before approving publication. The Assistant is a content support tool and does not guarantee reach, engagement, virality, follower growth, or a LinkedIn badge.

6. How Information Is Shared

Information may be processed by or transmitted to:

• OpenAI and ChatGPT, which provide the conversational interface and AI functionality
• Cloudflare, which hosts the middleware used to route authorised requests securely
• LinkedIn, which authenticates the account and publishes approved content
• Service providers acting on our behalf where reasonably necessary for hosting, security, support, or legal compliance
• Government authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid request

We do not sell personal information obtained through the LinkedIn integration. We do not use LinkedIn information obtained through this integration for third party advertising or data brokerage.

 7. Storage and Retention

The GlowBareSkin Cloudflare Worker is designed as a request forwarding service and does not intentionally maintain an application database containing LinkedIn access tokens, LinkedIn profile data, or post drafts.

Information may nevertheless be retained by OpenAI, Cloudflare, and LinkedIn according to their own settings, operational requirements, contracts, and privacy policies. Content published to LinkedIn remains on LinkedIn until you edit or remove it, subject to LinkedIn's policies.

Chat content may remain in your ChatGPT history according to your ChatGPT account settings. You can manage or delete conversations using the controls made available by ChatGPT.

Where GlowBareSkin receives a support, privacy, or deletion request, related correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the integration. These include OAuth based authorisation, encrypted HTTPS connections, limited permission scopes, and avoiding intentional storage of access tokens in the Worker database.

No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. You should protect access to your ChatGPT and LinkedIn accounts and promptly revoke access if you believe either account has been compromised.

 9. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by GlowBareSkin in connection with the Assistant. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.

You can disconnect the Assistant from LinkedIn at any time:

1. Open LinkedIn.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy.
3. Select Data privacy.
4. Under Other applications, open Permitted Services.
5. Remove the GlowBareSkin LinkedIn Content Assistant or the connected GlowBareSkin application.

Removing access prevents future authorised requests. It does not automatically delete posts already published to LinkedIn. You can edit or delete those posts directly through LinkedIn.

You may also remove the connected action from ChatGPT, delete relevant ChatGPT conversations, or contact us with a deletion request.

10. International Processing

OpenAI, Cloudflare, LinkedIn, and their service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their handling of such information is governed by their respective terms, privacy policies, and applicable data protection requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

The Assistant is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use the integration to collect personal information from children.

12. Third Party Services

Your use of ChatGPT and LinkedIn is also governed by the policies of those services. Please review:

GlowBareSkin is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of these third parties.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Assistant, its permissions, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
